(Renee Schiavone/Patch) DESERT HOT SPRINGS, CA — A woman succumbed to her injuries at a hospital Thursday after a motorcycle she was on overturned on Interstate 10 near Desert Hot Springs. Officers responded at 11:24 a.m. Thursday to a report of a solo-vehicle crash on Interstate 10 near the Palm Drive exit, according to the California Highway Patrol. A man and woman on a green Harley-Davidson motorcycle were hauling a small trailer on the freeway, CHP Public Information Officer David Torres told City News Service.
